Ghana Arbitration Center is an arbitration institution spontaneously established by the senior lawyers in Ghana to meet the critical needs arising from domestic civil and commercial disputes.

The establishment of Ghana Arbitration Centre also won the support from a number of senior Ghanaian legal professionals, including retired judges of the Supreme Court, practitioners of civil and commercial law and arbitration, incumbent and former Ghanaian law and education minister, dean of the law school, former Head of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, former President of the Ghana Bar Association, head of the legal department of the Ghanaian government, finance and investment, and the former head of other international arbitration institutions.
