World Trade Center Macao Arbitration Center

World Trade Center Macao Arbitration Center (formerly named "World Trade Center Macao Voluntary Arbitration Center”) was founded under the authority of the Order 48/GM/98 on 5 June 1998.

 

The purpose of founding the Arbitration Center is to promote dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation, providing the disputes parties with an alternative  other than judicial litigation.

 

Efforts have been made to fulfill this purpose since its establishment, while at the same time to accrue experience in solving disputes in civil, administrative or commercial issues.

 

The Arbitration Center has an office in operation in the World Trade Center Macao. It is directed by a General Council comprised of a President, a Vice President, two Members and a Secretary-General.

 

The arbitrators and mediators of the Arbitration Center are from either Macao or from the rest with a well-known reputation for his/her ethic and expertise in fields like law, finance, architecture, transportation, global trading and information technology.
