History

HKIAC was established in 1985 by a group of business tycoons and professionals in the effort to meet the growing needs for dispute resolutions in Asia. In early years HKIAC fed itself on the local business community and the government who provided funds. Today, HKIAC is financially self-sufficient and completely free, and is independent from any type of influence or control.
